Ashgabad park

Ashgabat Park in Tashkent is one of the largest and most modern parks in the capital, opened in April 2018 in honor of the friendship between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. It is located in the Yashnabad district, in the Chulpon mahalla, near the "Mashinasozlar" metro station (Uzbekistan Line).

What's in the park:

The park covers an area of about 12 hectares and is divided into two main zones:

Entertainment zone: More than 60 attractions, including the tallest Ferris wheel in Uzbekistan with air-conditioned cabins.

Recreation zone: Walking and cycling paths, benches, fountains, and green spaces.

The park’s architecture reflects elements of Turkmen culture:

Sculptures of Akhal-Teke horses

A fountain shaped like an eight-pointed star, featuring bronze horses and a light and music show

An amphitheater with 450 seats in the shape of a falcon, reminiscent of the Ashgabat airport

The park also includes the Otalar Chayxonasi teahouse, where visitors can relax, play chess, and read books. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park.
