Japanese Garden

Japanese Garden in Tashkent

The Japanese Garden is one of the most picturesque and peaceful places in Tashkent, designed in the style of traditional Japanese landscape art. It is located near the National Bank of Uzbekistan and represents a harmonious blend of nature and Zen philosophy.

The garden was created in the 1990s as a symbol of friendship between Japan and Uzbekistan. It follows classical Japanese design principles and features koi ponds, wooden bridges, stone lanterns, pine trees, bamboo, and cherry blossoms.

The main focus is on tranquility, contemplation, and the symmetry of natural forms. Water, stones, and plants are arranged to evoke a sense of balance and inner peace. Many visitors come not only for a walk but also for photo sessions, meditation, and to escape the city noise.

The garden is especially beautiful in spring, when the cherry blossoms bloom, and in autumn, when the trees turn golden and crimson.
