The Ark is an ancient citadel in Bukhara, located in present-day Uzbekistan. It is a monumental fortress that rises nearly 20 meters above the surrounding area and covers an area of about 4 hectares. The fortress is the oldest architectural and archaeological monument in Bukhara.
